*Job Summary:

Our fast-growing, technologically-driven manufacturing firmis seeking a Machine Operator. This position will provide the successfulcandidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and workas a team within a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate for thisrole has a couple of years experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strongattention to detail and is committed to workplace safety.A ProductionSupervisor is directly responsible for overseeing and organizing theequipment, staff, and processes on a production floor. They will overseescheduling and routine production activities as well as acting as the firstline of support for troubleshooting should problems arise. Operates controls to regulatetemperature, pressure, speed and flow of operation. Measures and loadsmaterials, items and ingredients for mixing into machines and feedingmechanisms. Monitors operation, regulates material supply and adds chemicalsand colorants to mixture.

*Key Responsibilities:

-Responsible for the production and quality of products,completing daily reports for production and payroll reporting purposes.                                                                

-Monitor closely ofthe production processes and implement corrective actions to ensure productquality and production efficiency.

-Responsible for maintaining/enforcing safe workingconditions, and ensuring that all Environmental Health and Safety

- Schedules and directs leads, utilities, and mold changersin the Molding Department.

- Works with production control to obtain moldingrequirements.

 -Monitors production,inventory, and minimizes scrap in the department. Works with the MoldingManager to continually improve the molding process.

-Works on maintaining the Methodology of Lean Manufacturingin the department.

- Trains all personnel in the department. Ensures that allpersonnel are trained with the help of trainers and leads.

-Reports all department and personnel issues.

- Resolves personnel issues in accordance to Company PolicyGuidelines.

- Troubleshoots and resolves molding processes.

-Inspects and updates all set up sheets.

- Keeps department running with minimum down time.

- Continuously looks for ways to reduce costs in thedepartment.

- Maintains department ISO procedures.

- Works with the Molding Manager to maintain PreventativeMaintenance (PM) program.

- Keeps the Molding Department in order.

- Schedules and directs mold changers through quick moldchange (Quick Die Set Up) methodology.

- Continuously improves manufacturing operations through theuse of lean enterprise practices and 6S principles throughout manufacturing.

- Keeps manufacturing equipment operating by enforcingoperating instructions; works with the Molding Manager and maintenancepersonnel to maintain PM system.

*Skills Required:

- Proven leadership qualities in alignment with Companyprinciples and core values.

- Proven skills in all aspects of Plastic productmanufacturing.

- Ability to write, read, understand and edit manufacturingprocedures, work instructions, schedules, part numbers, and descriptions. Basiccomputer skills.

- Able to interact with all the other departments forinstructions.

- Must work as a team, listen to other supervisors forsuggestions, and then delegate these instructions to team leaders; making sure thateveryday responsibilities are carried out accurately and in way that isacceptable to management.

*Education Qulaification:

- Must be a Graduate or Diploma holder.

*Experince:

- 2 to 5 years in Stretch Blow Moulding,Injection Moulding, Extusion Blow Moulding.

- Only Male is required.

*Salary- Rs. 15,000.
